CHELSEA SCHWAB TABBED TO LEAD PITT-BRADFORD SWIMMING PROGRAMS

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has named Chelsea Schwab as its new head coach for the men’s and women’s swimming programs and aquatics director.

Schwab joins the Pitt-Bradford community from Bradford Area High School, where she served as the head coach for boys’ and girls’ varsity swimming since 2016. Additionally, Schwab has served as the head coach for the City of Bradford boys and girls summer swim team.

Schwab attended Pennsylvania State University at University Park, where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in community and economic development. While attending Penn State, Schwab competed in club swimming.

Schwab officially began her duties on Monday, just as both programs kick off their 2019-20 season. She also led the Panthers in hosting the season opening Panther Relays. Despite a short time to work with the teams, Schwab was able to coach the Panthers to wins in three different events.
