The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving teams continued their undefeated reign atop the victory platform at the conclusion of the 2017 AMCC championship Saturday night.
The Behrend men, who won their eleventh straight title, finished wth a meet total of 763 points. Alfred State captured second (400), followed by Pitt-Bradford third (393), Penn State Altoona (270) and Cabrini (260).
The Lions earned six first place medals in the final evening session: 1650 freestyle (Brady Mattson), 200 backstroke (Mark Patterson, pool record), 100 freestyle (Ryan Siggins), 200 breaststroke (Nick Kost) and 200 butterfly (Nick Roth, school, pool, AMCC meet and open records), and the 400 freestyle relay (Patterson, Siggins, Kost, Roth). Alfred State's Nick Beach took gold on the 1m. board.
Patterson and Kost shared the High Point Male Swimmer award while Beach was honored as the High Point Male Diver.
