BEHREND MEN WIN NINTH STRAIGHT AMCC TITLE; SIMON AND ROTH SHARE HIGH POINT SCORER HONORS

After holding a commanding lead following each of the first two days of the AMCC Championship meet, the Penn St. Behrend men walked away with their ninth consecutive AMCC championship title. The Lions finished with 348 points while second place Pitt-Bradford had 140. Cabrini College was right behind the Panthers with 136 points and Penn St. Altoona came in fourth place with 99.

In the 200 yard backstroke, Behrend senior Dan Simon broke an AMCC open and meet record, and had a B-cut time of 1:52.14. Lion sophomore Nick Roth also broke an AMCC open and meet record, this time in the 200 yard butterfly, when he hit the wall in 1:54.77. Simon and Roth shared high point scorer honors.
