Weaver was a key part of his team's performance last week in a pair of AMCC games on the road. In a 2-0 shutout at Mount Aloysius on Wednesday, he scored the game-winning goal while putting two shots on net, and he was also effective defensively in limiting Mount Aloysius to just five total shots and two shots on goal. In a 1-1 tie at Penn State Behrend on Saturday, he combined with his team to hold the opponent to just three shots on goal and one goal scored. Weaver led the Altoona defense in limiting Behrend to its fewest shots against a conference opponent.
