Ballard had a big week for the Lions, helping his team go 3-0 last week. In Tuesday night's win at home over Saint Vincent, Grady scored the game-winning goal and also assisted on his team's first goal, while taking four shots and putting two on goal. In a 1-0 victory at Thiel on Thursday evening, he attempted five shots, putting all of them on goal. In the Lions' AMCC opener, a 6-2 win at Hilbert on Saturday, Grady scored five goals, attempted 12 shots, and had nine shots on goal. The freshman set three new Penn State Altoona men's soccer program single game records in the win: goals scored (5), points (10), and shots attempted (12). On the week, Ballard scored six goals and recorded one assist for 13 points. He also had 21 shot attempts, including 16 shots on goal.

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille F Ander Castillo recorded five goals in two games, including a hat-trick in the first conference match-up, a 5-2 victory over Pitt-Greensburg...Pitt-Bradford F Brent Kennedy had a big hand in Pitt-Bradford's come from behind victory over Alfred State, heading home the game-tying goal in the 80th minute, and then three minutes later, nodding down longball to assist the game-winner...Alfred State M Jack Leahy led Alfred State with two goals and an assist this past week, as he scored an insurance goal in the 3-1 win over Cazenovia and then had a goal and an assist in the AMCC opener vs. Pitt Bradford...PS-Behrend SR Cameron Eckberg added an insurance goal late in the second half to secure a 2-0 win over Mt. Aloysius in the AMCC opener on Saturday.
