FIVE NAMED TO USC MEN'S SOCCER ALL-REGION TEAM
The AMCC saw five men's soccer players named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III Men's All-Region VII Team.
Honorees include Alfred State College senior midfielder Henry Leahy, La Roche University senior forward Malvin Madzimbamuto, Penn State Behrend junior forward Owen Petersen and senior defender Brock Kiefer, and Mount Aloysius College junior defender Martin Donner.
Leahy, the AMCC Offensive Player of the Year, led the Pioneers in several categories, including points (35), goals (14), and assists (7). Leahy also scored three game-winning goals, while chipping in two penalty goals.
Madzimbamuto becomes just the second United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection in Redhawk history, as he was named to the second team on Tuesday. He was the key piece of the La Roche offense in 2025, as he put together a senior season that included nine goals (T-3rd AMCC), three assists and 21 points (T-5th AMCC), while taking 49 shots, the second most in the conference. In AMCC play, Madzimbamuto scored four goals (T-4th AMCC) and added a pair of assists for 10 points (T-6th AMCC).
Petersen was voted to the third team, as he tied for first for the Behrend Lionds with eight goals and added four assists for 20 points. The junior started every game and registered two game-winning goals.
Kiefer and Donner both earned fourth team honors.
Kiefer anchored the Behrend defense that allowed 16 goals in 18 contests. He was instrumental in the teams 0.94 goals-against average and four shutouts. Keifer started 17 of the 18 games and added one goal and four assists for six points.
Donner registered two goals and three assists in conference play while leading the Mounties on defense to an apperance in the AMCC championship game.
