AMCC MEN'S SOCCER GAME OF THE WEEK: BEHREND AT FRANCISCAN
The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team will travel to Franciscan on Saturday for the AMCC Game of the Week beginning at 3:15 p.m. Behrend, ranked 7th in the latest Great Lakes Region poll, currently holds a 9-1-3 overall record and is 3-0-1 in conference play. Franciscan University is 10-3-1 overall and holds the top conference mark at 6-0.

The Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team will travel to Franciscan on Saturday for the AMCC Game of the Week beginning at 3:15 p.m. Behrend, ranked 7th in the latest Great Lakes Region poll, currently holds a 9-1-3 overall record and is 3-0-1 in conference play. Franciscan University is 10-3-1 overall and holds the top conference mark at 6-0.
The Lions are led by senior forward Anthony Crivelli who has four goals and three assists, tallying 13 points. He now has 99 career points, placing him third on the all-time list. Junior forward Jared Myers and senior defenseman Sean Gallagher have added to the mix as well. Myers has scored three goals while Gallagher has added one goal and four assists. Freshman goalkeeper Chris Ralph holds an 8-1 record in net for Behrend including six shutouts. He has a 0.51 GAA and 27 saves. Head Coach Dan Perritano is now only four wins away from reaching number 300 for the men’s program.
Franciscan men’s soccer team heads into the matchup with Penn State Behrend on Saturday having broken the program wins record as the Barons sit at 10-3-1 on the year. Leading the way is the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year, Leo Herrmann. Herrmann has 16 goals and five assists this season for 37 points. Earlier in the year, Herrmann topped the 100-point mark for his career and is at 112. The junior needs just two goals to hit the 50-goal mark for his career. Senior Joe Francis has been a large part of the Baron offense as well with nine goals this year, his highest season total. Senior Joseph Duran leads the Barons and is third in the AMCC with six assists. Junior keeper Thomas Dosedel is atop the AMCC with nine wins and ranks fourth in the league with a 1.38 GAA. Dosedel recently broke the Barons’ single-season shutout mark recording his four solo shutout of the season against Mount Aloysius.
