PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SO Trey Heffelfinger had a great week for the Lions, competing against Westminster in match play on Tuesday before playing in the two-day Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic on Friday and Saturday. In Tuesday's match play against the Titans at Laurel Valley Golf Club, Trey won his match 5 and 4. In Friday's round of the MVCC, Trey shot 73 to rank third out of 60 individuals. He followed that up by firing 72 in Saturday's round of the MVCC, compiling a two-day score of 145 to place third out of 60 golfers in the tournament. Trey had the lowest score of any AMCC player in the MVCC.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Alex Pol had the team-low score on both days of the Mountain Valley Classic, finishing with a 150 (76-74) to tie for fifth overall, with both scores being a season-low for Pol...Mount Aloysius JR Aloysius Lee had his best round of the season on Friday with a 75 on the first day of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic, as he finished in an overall tie for 11th for the two-day tournament...Hilbert FR Michael Petrus had another impressive week, leading the Hawks over a trio of matches, as his week began with a Top 15 finish at the Elmira Invite after grinding out an 88 despite wet conditions; he then fired a combined 163 during the 36-hole Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic, finishing in the top third of the field both days, including an impressive 79 on day two of the event...Medaille FR Ben Tubbs shot the lowest score of the day for Medaille at the Elmira Invitational with a 93, tying for 13th place.
