Ferguson helped the Lions to a pair of wins in their first two events of the spring this past week. In a dual match victory at Penn State Berks last Monday, he carded an 87 in his first round with the Lions, tying for sixth place individually in a field of 12. In Saturday's first place finish for Penn State Altoona in the Behrend Invitational, he won the individual title out of 26 golfers by shooting 80. On the week, Ferguson averaged 83.5 in two rounds for Penn State Altoona.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend JR Alex Pol finished tied for second overall and first for the Lions with an 83 at the first invitational of the season. In a playoff to break the five-way tie, Pol was able to take home the third place trophy...Hilbert FR Michael Petrus made his Hawks debut at the Penn State Behrend Invitational at Whispering Woods on Saturday afternoon. Petrus shot even par on 6 of the 18 holes to finish the day with a 94 to place 18th amongst the field.
