BATRUS, HOPE NAMED AMCC GOLFERS OF THE WEEK

The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Golfers of the Week for men's and women's golf for the period running from September 10-16, 2025.

MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona JR Daniel Batrus had the biggest win of the day for the Lions, who defeated non-conference opponent Westminster College 6-1 on Saturday to claim their first-ever Hite Cup title in the five-year history of the annual round of match play. The junior defeated the Titans' Josh Furman 7&6.

WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Carlow SR Lilli Hope shot the best round of her collegiate career to lead the Celtics with an 84. She hit three pars on the day and sank two birdies on the back nine to tie for 20th out of 74 golfers at the Susquehanna Invitational.

WOMEN'S BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Gabby Catalogna had the Lions' low round in Monday's Saint Vincent College Invitational, shooting 97 on the par 72 course to tie for 14th place individually out of 42 golfers.
