BEHREND GOLF COMPLETES DAY TWO AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished their ninth trip at the NCAA Division III Championships in 33rd place with a two-day score of 661 on Wednesday at the Oglebay Resort & Conference Center.
The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished their ninth trip at the NCAA Division III Championships in 33rd place with a two-day score of 661 on Wednesday at the Oglebay Resort & Conference Center.
The Lions competed on the Palmer course for the second round of 18 holes and shot a team score of 334. Overall, Behrend shot +97 for a 661 total and did not advance to day three of the championships. Ryan Meyer tallied a team-low score of 160 for the two days. Meyer tied for 136th place with an 84 on day two (76-84=160). Jake Caldwell, Michael Dinner and Ryan Johnson all tied for 159th place overall. Johnson had the best score of round two out of the Lions five golfers, finishing with an 82 for a 168 total. Dinner and Alex Pol each fired an 84 on the day. Caldwell had a 39-48 for an 87 for the round and end with a 168 to tie for 159th place. Pol had a two-day total of 177 to place 180th.
