The Penn State Behrend men's golf team is on top of the leaderboard with a team-low score of 320 after day one of the 2020 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships at the Peek n' Peak Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

Behrend will take a 14-stroke lead heading into the final 18 holes tomorrow, as the Lions held a double-digit stroke lead throughout the final nine holes. Sophomore Ryan Meyer leads the field of 33 with a season-low 75 after the first round.
Penn State Altoona compiled a team score of 334 in the tournament's opening round to finish the day in second place. The reigning champions Pitt-Bradford are in third place after day one, shooting +61 as a team for a 349 score.
Penn State Altoona senior Jimmy Gillespie and Pitt-Bradford senior Johnny Fiore tied for second overall with an 80.
