PITT-BRADFORD LEADS AMCC GOLF TEAMS AT LA ROCHE INVITATIONAL

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team continued its strong play into Tuesday's event hosted by La Roche College at Wildwood Country Club.

The Panthers finished third out of 10 teams with a score of 319, behind Saint Vincent College (316) and California University of PA (318). Penn State Behrend finished in fourth place (320), with La Roche rounding out the top five (322). 

Pitt-Bradford's team success was guided by junior Johnny Fiore's score of 76, which tied for the individual lead. Fiore played a tiebreaker with Westminster College's Avery Andric to determine the event's medalist but did not come out victorious. Andric was crowned the individual medalist for the invitational.

Pitt-Greensburg senior Zach Bernstein and Behrend sophomore Dan Thomas tied for third place, each shooting a 77. Behrend senior Stefan Carlsson tied with St. Vincent's Jimmy Dolan and Cal's Chris Palutro for fifth place with 78's.
