The Penn State Behrend (+20/308) men's golf team placed first out of 15 teams at the Penn State Altoona Invitational on Saturday at Sinking Valley Country Club. Allegany College of Maryland was the runner-up with a score of 316, and Pitt-Greensburg and La Roche College tied for third with 318.
La Roche junior Ben Mullins won the event as an individual, placing first out of 73 golfers by shooting 70, a 2-under par. Pitt-Greensburg sophomore Javon Trout was second with a 71, and La Roche freshman Patrick McCall came in third with a 73.
