MEDAILLE FINISHES FIFTH AT KEUKA COLLEGE FALL INVITATIONAL
The Medaille College, Hilbert College, and D'Youville College men's golf teams all returned to action today as they traveled to Pen Yan, NY to take part in the Kuka College Fall Invitational at Lakeside Country Club.

Oswego State won the top team honors finishing with a team score of (+27/311), winning outright by six strokes over second place SUNY Delhi (+33/ 317). Daemen College and SUNY Canton both shot (+34/318) to come in a tie for third place on the day. The Mavericks finished next in fifth with a team score of (+42/326). Hilbert (+93/377) and D'Youville (+98/382) came in eleventh and twelfth.
Daemen's Mitch Feneziani (+3/74) won medalist honors on a scorecard tiebreaker over SUNY Canton's Nolan Reid (+3/74).
Medaille freshman Bobby Merino and Hilbert sophomore Jeffrey Morgan each carded a career low (+8/79) to finish in a tie for ninth place.
Mavs sophomore Chuck Panepinto finished in fifteenth, just one shot back of Merino and Morgan with a (+9/80) and freshman Ryan Langhorne (+12/83), sophomore Jeremiah Gamble (+13/84) and junior Adam Kroll (+15/86) rounded out the scores for Medaille. The Mavericks came in twenty strokes better than they did at the same course in 2015, when they placed sixth out of nine teams.
The Hawks fired their best team score this season, a 377, aided by Morgan and sophomore Caleb Nellis (+13/84) each carding their career low scores. Hawk sophomore Ryan Bungo closed in a five-way tie in 48th place hitting a 95 and Thomas Marchewka closed the Hawks scoring with a 119.
D'Youville, with a team score of 382, was led by freshman Mac Cox who tied for 30th place with an 84. Senior Patrick Burke was 45th (+20/91), senior Steve Brooks was 54th (+30/106), senior Jeff Turner was 58th (+35/106) and junior Justin Losowski rounded out the Spartan scoring with a 109.
