PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche F Major Rainey had a standout week for the Redhawks, as the sophomore played a tremendous role in the Redhawks' 2-0 week to improve their AMCC win streak to seven straight. In Wednesday's 103-85 victory over Carlow, Rainey contributed 10 points, five rebounds and a block in just 23 minutes. He followed that performance in Saturday's thrilling, 95-92 win over Pitt-Bradford with his fourth double-double in the last five games, scoring 28 points on 10-for-14 shooting, to go alongside 13 rebounds, a steal and three blocks. For the week, Rainey averaged 19 points, 9.0 rebounds, had four total blocks, shot 66.7% from the field (14-for-21) and 90% from the foul line (9-for-10).

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona G Rasheed Daniels recorded 16 points to go along with two block and one assist in Wednesday night's road loss at Pitt-Bradford, then on Saturday afternoon, in a home victory against Hilbert, he put up a game-high 30 points while adding seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block, on the week, he averaged 23.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game...PS-Behrend F Jacob Dunkle averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Lions, he tallied his fourth double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 boards in the win over Alfred State, then led the Lions with 15 points vs. Pitt-Greensburg...Carlow G Jordyn Tavarez averaged 22.5 points per game and shot 57.1 percent from the field to help the Celtics snap a 10-game losing streak with a win over Alfred State Jan. 31...Hilbert G Iyan Bremer had a breakout game for the Hawks, as he recorded 21 points and four rebounds while shooting 57% from the field and 55% from behind the arc.
