PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona G/F Javon Wilson had a big week to help the Lions open AMCC play with a 2-0 record, including wins over Hilbert and Pitt-Greensburg. The senior scored 34 points (the 9th-most in a game in team history) to go along with seven assists, seven steals, and six rebounds to help his team defeat the defending AMCC champion Pitt-Greensburg squad on Wednesday night. On Saturday afternoon, he added nine points (including the game-winning free throw), eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a win over defending AMCC regular season champion Hilbert. On the week, Wilson averaged 21.5 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, 5.0 assists per game, and 4.5 steals per game.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford F Evan Greening picked up two more double-doubles last week, scoring 30 points and grabbing 13 rebounds against Hilbert and then adding 21 points and 11 rebounds against La Roche...Hilbert G Derrek Carman led the hawks to a 1-1 record averaging 20 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, shooting 57.7 percent from the field...PS-Behrend G Andy Niland led the Lions in scoring both games this week, draining five three's in each game to help him average 19.5 points per game, all while shooting an impressive 66.7 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from beyond the arc...Mount Aloysius G Tre Brown recorded the first double-double of his career, as he racked up 26 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with five assists against D'Youville...La Roche G RayQuan Phifer averaged 17 points, 6.5 rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 2-0 week for La Roche, as the Redhawks picked up wins over Franciscan and Pitt-Bradford...Medaille G Johnathan Belton averaged 16.5 points on 53.8% shooting from the field, while also leading the team with 10 assists and committing just one turnover over the same span, his four steals per game rank second in the country...Franciscan F Juwan Perkins averaged 19.5 points and 5.5 rebound per game behind a stellar 24-point performance against La Roche on Wednesday, as he shot 58.3% from the floor...D'Youville G Simeon Heard averaged 12.0 points per game last week and played a big role in the Spartans earning their first conference win this past Saturday, as he scored 14 points, a career high, in the team's 95-85 win over the Mount Aloysius Mounties, shooting 41.7% from the field and 100% from the line, adding four rebounds and two assists.
