DUNKLE, ROZICH EARN ALL-ECAC POSTSEASON HONORS
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2026 Division III Men's Basketball All-ECAC Teams and major award winners.
Penn State Behrend freshman forward Jacob Dunkle has been named the 2026 Division III ECAC Men's Basketball Newcomer of the Year. Dunkle led the Lions with 16.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The AMCC First Team selection and All-Tournament Team choice, scored double-figure points in 23 out of the 27 contests. Dunkle posted seven double-doubles this season and scored 20 or more points in 11 games. He also had 21 blocks 18 steals and 27 assists. Dunkle registered a season-best 26 points on two occasions and pulled down a season-high 16 rebounds at Pitt-Bradford.
Pitt-Greensburg senior forward Trent Rozich was named to the All-ECAC First Team. Rozich, the AMCC Player of the Year and first-team selection, Rozich started in all 25 contests for the Bobcats, scoring in double digits in every game. He recorded four double-doubles and a triple-double on the season. Rozich led Pitt-Greensburg in minutes per game (33.6), points per game (16.8), rebounds per game (7.0) and total assists (112). He was second on the team in blocks and third on the team in steals, finishing the regular season fifth in the AMCC in points per game, fourth in rebounds per game, fourth in field goal percentage and second in assists.
