PITT-GREENSBURG MEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS IN ECAC FIRST ROUND
The men's basketball season officially came to an end for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as it fell to the Green Terror of McDaniel College in the first round of the ECAC Tournament.
The men's basketball season officially came to an end for the Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball team as it fell to the Green Terror of McDaniel College in the first round of the ECAC Tournament. Four Bobcats scored in double-figures, but it wasn't enough, as the final score was 72-63 in favor of McDaniel.
Trent Rozich, Joziah Wyatt-Taylor, and Ryan Greggerson all scored 11 points, with Matthew Marinchak scoring 10. The shots from deep weren't falling for the Bobcats, as they shot just 15 percent from behind the arc. Marinchak made two of his three shots from three to lead the Bobcats.
Jackson Byer played facilitator for the Bobcats, scoring five points with eight assists, three rebounds, and four steals. Pitt-Greensburg shot over 83 percent from the free-throw line, with three out of the five players who took a free throw going perfectly from the line. McDaniel went to the charity strip just seven times, making six. The Green Terror shot 42 percent from three and 48 percent from the floor.
The Bobcats finish their season with 18 wins while going 12-4 in AMCC play.
