Pitt-Bradford enters the matchup at 5-3 with a 1-0 record in AMCC play. In their midweek matchup at Alfred State, the Panthers held on late to pick up a 97-96 victory in their conference opener. They have been led this season by freshman guard Isaiah Archie and junior Nathan Schneider, who are currently the top two in the conference in points per game. Archie is averaging 22.7 per game, and has been on a hot streak of late, topping 30 points in three of his last four games. Schneider is second in the AMCC in scoring with 20.3 points per game, and first in rebounding with 10.4 per game.

Penn State Altoona has been finding success at both ends of the court. On offense, the team currently ranks first in the AMCC in points per game (88.4), field goal percentage (48.6), three-point field goal percentage (40.6), free throw percentage (72.1), and assists per game (15.8). Defensively, the Lions lead the conference in steals per game (9.6), blocks per game (5.2), opponent field goal percentage (41.5), and opponent three-point field goal percentage (24.8). Senior guard Robbie Hicks is leading Penn State Altoona in scoring with 14.4 points per game, while senior guard/forward Andruw Harman – the reigning AMCC Player of the Week – is averaging 12.0 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game.
