Hilbert senior guard Sean Weisansal was credited with 16 assists in Hilbert's 108-66 victory over Franciscan over the weekend.
With those eye-popping numbers, the senior guard set a new Hilbert single-game assist record just 13-months after Trevor Stark '15 dished for 15-assists last year.
Weisansal added 10 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Hawks improved to 16-4 and returned to second place in the league standings at 10-3.
The 6'3 guard averages 4.2 assists, 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds in 30.7 minutes a game for Hilbert as they push for their sixth consecutive post-season championship run.
After missing most of his freshman year due to an eye injury, Weisansal jumped into the Hawks' Top 10 list with 216 career assists in 81 games.
