#2 seed Medaille College defeated #4 Hilbert College, 81-76, in an overtime thriller in the championship of the AMCC men's basketball tournament on Saturday at the Penn St. Behrend Junker Center. With the trophy comes the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Div. III tournament.

Medaille regained the lead and did not make the same mistake twice, capping the win with a steal and bucket by Jammal Coleman in the closing moments for their fourth league title.
The Mavericks scoring was dominated by Ryan Grandits (26), Johnathan Belton (23) and Coleman (19). Hilbert got 26 points from Weisansal and 12 from Jerame Owens.
