MEDAILLE AND BEHREND ADVANCE TO POST SEASON TOURNAMENTS
AMCC men's basketball champion Medaille College (19-7, 14-4 AMCC) is set to play the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champion and No. 9 ranked Marietta College (25-3, 16-2 OAC) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
AMCC men's basketball champion Medaille College (19-7, 14-4 AMCC) is set to play the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champion and No. 9 ranked Marietta College (25-3, 16-2 OAC) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Both teams are making their fourth appearance in the tournament.
Medaille is led by senior Jammal Coleman who is the school's all-time leader in points, free throws and steals and is first the AMCC with 21.0 points per game. Medaille head coach Mike Blaine is making his first trip to the NCAA Tournament in his first year at the helm.
Marietta received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament after falling in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship game to Mount Union, 81-85. Marietta is led on the court by senior Garrett Stephenson, who was selected by the OAC as the Dick Reynolds Award winner, which is given out to the conference's Most Outstanding Player. He finished the season averaging 12.8 ppg and 6.8 rpg.

season and a challenging championship weekend to achieve our goal
of winning the AMCC Tournament. We are looking forward to

III and are very excited to pursue another
championship.”
Penn St. Behrend claimed the No. 1 seed for the 2015 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Tournament. The top-seeded Lions (23-3) will host No. 8 Bethany College (17-10) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Junker Center.
The Lions will be making their 13th appearance in the ECAC tournament, last capturing the South Region title in 2010. Behrend won the AMCC regular-season title and earned a first-round bye in the conference tournament. The Lions were upset by No. 4 Hilbert in the semifinals, 64-59. Bethany also lost in their conference semifinal game, falling to Waynesburg 70-57.
The winner between Behrend and the Bison will be the host for the semifinal and championship games, slated for Saturday and Sunday.
