PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona UTIL Jake Hillard had an outstanding week at the plate for the Lions, helping his team go 4-0 in AMCC doubleheaders with Mount Aloysius and Hilbert. Versus Mount Aloysius last Tuesday, he combined to hit 3-for-7 with four RBIs, two runs scored, one home run, and one triple. He followed that up by going 6-for-9 with 11 RBIs, five runs scored, three home runs, and two doubles in a pair of games against Hilbert on Saturday. On the week, Hillard batted .563 (9-for-16) with 15 RBIs, seven runs scored, four home runs, two doubles, and a triple. He finished the week with a .529 on-base percentage, a 1.563 slugging percentage, and 25 total bases.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State P/1B Matteo Avallone collected hits in seven of the Pioneers eight games this week, as he was 14-for-27 on the week with one double, four homers, and 10 RBIs, including 11-for-21 with the double and three homers to go along with nine RBIs in conference play...Pitt-Greensburg P/UTIL Will Thorp helped the Pitt-Greensburg baseball team to a 3-1 record, as he batted .765 on the week, going 13-for-17, with a home run, five RBIs, and eight runs, including his first career homr run in the sixth inning of game two against Medaille...La Roche INF Philip Pieto helped the Redhawks to a 5-1 record on the week with 10 hits, two doubles, two home-runs, and 11 runs batted in. Pieto had .476 batting average (10-for-21), scored eight runs, drew three walks, posted an .857 slugging percentage and a .520 on-base percentage...Mount Aloysius OF Joshua Brown finished up the week with a strong series against Penn State Behrend over the weekend, where he had four hits and drove in six runs; For the week he had five hits in AMCC play, and drove in eight runs, getting on base at a .407 clip...PS-Behrend INF Braden Paulinellie hit .500 in a 3-1 week for the Lions, as he tallied nine hits and scored six runs in four conference games while registering multiple hits in each game, including a 2-for-4 showing with two runs and an RBI in the 7-6 win over Mt. Aloysius...Hilbert OF/P Misael Guzman Caez had a strong performance in the Hawks' doubleheader against Penn State Altoona on Saturday afternoon, as he had a pair of multi-hit games to finish the day 4-for-7 with a double and two stolen bases, he ended the week batting .385 with a double, four runs scored and four stolen bases...Pitt-Bradford C/3B Evan Fragela was a lone bright spot in the Panthers' two losses at LaRoche this weekend, as he went 3-for-6 in the doubleheader, singling twice in the opener, and once more in the finale...Medaille INF Anthony DeJoseph registered a hit in each of three of four games this past week and had multiple hits in two of the games, he finished the week hitting .545 (6-for-11) and drove in three runs while also scoring three times.
