Cannon put in two solid performances for the Mounties last week. In his start against Albertus Magnus, Cannon threw a complete game scattering eight hits and allowing two runs in the seven inning contest. He struck out six batters while allowing only one walk, handing them their first loss of 2019. He also threw three innings in relief in against Wells College. Cannon threw the final three innings for the Mounties, allowing one run on four hits.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State SR Garrett Mack didn't allow a run in a pair of appearances, as he tossed six shutout innings in a victory over Lakeland and then closed out the teams victory over NYU with two scoreless frames, he finished the week allowing just six hits (all singles) while walking three and striking out three...Hilbert SO Zachary Crane tossed a complete game against Houghton in Game 1 of the Hawks Friday doubleheader, as he limited the Highlanders offense to just one extra base hit and added a pair of strikeouts...Medaille SR Peter Grunzweig improved to 2-0 after throwing 7.1 innings and getting the win against SUNY Poly, as he allowed one earned run and pitched his way out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh to force extra-innings...Pitt-Bradford JR Andrew Bacha had a pair of starts in Florida that resulted in Panther wins but ended in no-decisions for him, as he tossed seven-plus innings against Rockford, striking out three while surrendering just three hits and one run...La Roche FR Zach Oddi threw six scoreless innings and picked up his first career save...PS-Behrend SR Brady Kress picked up his first win on the mound in game two against Muskingum, as he threw three innings of relief and struck out three to help the Lions sweept the Fighting Muskies.
