PITT-GREENSBURG'S RYAN DODSON NAMED DIVISION III HITTER OF THE WEEK

Pitt-Greensburg junior outfielder Ryan Dodson was tabbed the National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association Division III Hitter of the Week for the period of April 25-May 1.

Dodson led a sparkling week for Division III hitters. The AMCC Player of the Week proved extremely efficient for the Bobcats, going 10-for-12 over a three-game span against Medaille and Waynesburg. He posted a .883 batting average that included a walk, five doubles, five runs, and eight RBI. Dodson’s numbers also featured an .846 on base percentage and 1.250 slugging percentage.
