In all areas, it was a win-win situation as $720 was collected
on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Five Hilbert baseball players--Paul Wujek, Matt Gorja, Tom
Irish, Tyler Roth and Kevin Moore-- organized a baseball
clinic which ran from 9 am to 1 pm March 30.
The Hawks promoted the event, coordinated the day's schedule and
served as instructors for the 36 participants. The attendees
shuffled between a fielding, pitching, and two different hitting
(t-work/inside a cage hitting off machine) stations. The day ended
with a four-team whiffle ball tournament.
