LA ROCHE SAAC GETS STYLISH FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Who says you can't look good and do good at the same time?
Who says you can't look good and do good at the same time?
Not the La Roche College Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
The Redhawks' SAAC held a fundraiser on campus this past week
called “Cuts for a Cause” where students, faculty and
staff were able to get their hair cut by a professional stylist for
a donation of $10. Members of SAAC spread the word around campus
and there was a constant line of people waiting to receive
haircuts.
The stylists were members of the staff at Tina’s Hair Designs which is located in Oakdale. Tina’s is a well-known salon in Pittsburgh and the staff there volunteered their time to help La Roche SAAC make this a successful event.
All of the proceeds were donated to Special Olympics.
