AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR DECEMBER 15-21, 2025

The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball for the period running from December 15-21, 2025.

Men's Basketball: Carlow G Jimmy Giannetta scored a game- and career-high 30 points to lead the Celtics in a non-conference loss to Waynesburg, he also tallied five assists and three steals.

Women's Basketball: PS-Altoona F Avana Sayles notched her sixth double-double of the season in a road loss to non-conference opponent Waynesburg on Saturday. The senior finished the day with 17 points and 10 rebounds to go along with two steals, two blocks, and one assist.
