AMCC ANNOUNCES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR FEBRUARY 9-15, 2026
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball, men's volleyball, and women's lacrosse for the period running from February 9-15, 2026.
Men's Basketball: PS-Behrend F Jacob Dunkle averaged 24.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for the Lions, while shooting 68.2 percent from the floor. He was one point shy of his season best with 26 against Pitt-Bradford, while also adding seven rebounds. Dunkle then led with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals vs. Altoona. For the week, Dunkle went 19-for-25 from the free-throw line and pulled down 19 rebounds.
Women's Basketball: Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack opened the week with a strong all-around showing at Penn State Altoona, scoring 21 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 11-of-12 from the free-throw line, while pulling down 14 rebounds and dishing out six assists in 35 minutes. She followed that with a dominant performance in Mount Aloysius’ 73-45 road win at Hilbert, finishing with 21 points on an efficient 10-of-12 from the field, along with 13 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in just 29 minutes, anchoring the Mounties in a decisive conference victory. For the week, Kosmack averaged 21.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game, while also carrying a 4.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Men's Volleyball (Offensive): PS-Behrend RS Jack Wilcox averaged 3.89 kills, 2.11 digs and 1.22 blocks per set in a 3-0 week for the Lions. He tallied a double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs vs. Geneva, before knocking down 13 kills at Altoona. In two sets played at Mt. Aloysius, Wilcox tallied seven kills and three digs. For the week, he registered 35 kills, 19 digs and 11 blocks.
Men's Volleyball (Defesive): PS-Behrend MH Lewis Rhodes registered 13 total blocks (10 assists, three solo), while producing a .647 attack percentage in three wins for the Lions. He knocked down 23 kills on 34 attempts with one error for the week. Against Geneva, Rhodes tallied eight kills and seven digs. In the win over Mt. Aloysius, he posted eight kills, three blocks, three digs and two service aces.
Women's Lacrosse (Offensive): Alfred State F Karlee Hargather led the Alfred State offense with four goals, one assist, for a total of five points. She also added four caused turnovers and a groundball.
Women's Lacrosse (Defensive): Pitt-Bradford GK Lily Thuman picked up the win in the Panthers' 15-2 victory over Geneva in the program's inaugural game. She made eight saves, while allowing just two goals for an 80.0 save percentage. She also had multiple groundball pickups in and outside of the crease.
