PITT-BRADFORD SOFTBALL HOSTS CARE FOR CHILDREN CLINIC
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball team hosted a fun night of softball on the field at the Kessel Athletic Complex, hosting CARE for Children for a youth clinic.
The Panthers have annually partnered with the organization for this event during their fall season. CARE for Children is a local non-profit organization which is dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities.
Pitt-Bradford players and coaches worked with attendees, showing them some of the fundamentals of the sport, including throwing, catching, and hitting. At the end of the event, they put all of them together for a short game. There were over 20 children in attendance this year.
“This is always a fun night and one we look forward to," said head softball coach Tina Phillips. "We love working with the CARE for Children organization and feel they are a part of our softball family."
