HILBERT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HELPS WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
The Hilbert College women's basketball team helped out in the local community last week while spending Friday morning with Habitat for Humanity of Buffalo.
The Hilbert College women's basketball team helped out in the local community last week while spending Friday morning with Habitat for Humanity of Buffalo.
After a tour of the warehouse location and a brief history on the Buffalo chapter of Habitat for Humanity, the Hawks got to work.
They spent the day loading building materials into the moving truck, building storage shelves, organizing the general warehouse, and using a variety of power tools.
"Volunteering in the local community was a great experience for our team, and we were happy to assist Habitat for Humanity in all they do for Buffalo" said Coach Amy Senefelder.
