PENN STATE BEHREND STARTS OUT STRONG IN PRESIDENTS CUP RACE
After claiming five of seven fall sport championships, Penn State Behrend once again starts off the year with the lead for the AMCC Presidents Cup title. The Lions claimed AMCC crowns in women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. They collected 46 points out of a possible 52 total, for a league-high percentage ranking of 0.885.
With a conference title in men's golf, and championship appearances in men's soccer and women's volleyball, Mount Aloysius College holds down the second spot with a 0.6659 percentage ranking. Hot on the Mounties' heels is Alfred State College, as the Pioneers earned runner-up finishes in men's and women's cross country, along with semifinal appearances in men's and women's soccer. The Pioneers posted a 0.651 percentage ranking, good for third place after the fall sports season.
