PITT-GREENSBURG'S JENNINGS, BIGLEY NAMED FAR AWARD WINNERS

The Faculty Athletic Representatives (FARs) around the AMCC have voted on and selected the 2025 FAR Award Winners. On the men's side is Pitt-Greensburg men's basketball player Michael Bigley while Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer player Logan Jennings represents the women's side. Bigley and Jennings were chosen from among 18 outstanding student-athletes named to the AMCC All-Academic Team, earning the prestigious honor after a successful four years in the classroom, in the community, and in their respective sport.
Bigley just wrapped up his junior year at Pitt-Greensburg and carries a 3.923 GPA in Management. He was named the Pitt-Greensburg Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is a three-time member of the Dean's List, as well as a two-time AMCC Peak Performer and honoree on the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team. He is a team captain on the men's basketball team, starting 23 games while averaging 10.4 points per game and dishing out 73 assists. He helped lead the Bobcats to a second place regular season finish and a spot in the AMCC semifinals. Bigley serves as a youth basketball camp volunteer and team Bible study leader. He is a youth AAU coach and skills trainer for REL Academy Basketball and served as a medical device sales intern for B-One Orthopedics.
Jennings graduated in May with a 3.984 GPA in Healthcare Management. She was named the Pitt-Greensburg Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, is a member of Chi Alpha Siga National Honor Society, while also being a four-time AMCC Peak Performer and member of the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team. She is a two-time recipient of the UPG Academic Excellence Award, is a Dean's Award Scholarship winner, and also a member of Phi Eta Sigma. Jennings served as a team captain for the women's soccer team and started 60 games in her collegiate career. She is a two-time AMCC regular season champion and was part of the 2022 AMCC championship team. She is a two-time member of AMCC all-conference team, scoring 13 goals and adding 12 assists during her career. Jennings is an active member is all of Pitt-Greensburg's women's soccer team's community service projects, including their annual Adopt-a-Family Christmas Gift Project and Spring into the Streets community improvement projects. She has served as a Redstone Highlands intern and worked a part-time job at Hueters Greenhouse.

Alfred State College SR football player Silas Egenlauf graduated with a 3.83 GPA in Construction Management, he was a second team CSC Academic All-American while also being named to the D3footballcom all-region team and was the ECFC Defensive Player of the Year while being selected to the all-conference first team, he participated in the NMDP bone marrow registry drive and also volunteered for the Special Olympics Track & Field Spectacular four years in a row...Carlow University JR men's soccer player Konner Sayre carries a 3.86 GPA in Accounting with a minor in Technology and Business Management, he is an AMCC Peak Performer and a member of the CSC Academic All-District and USCAA All-Academic teams, Sayre was also named to the USCAA All-American First Team...Hilbert College SR volleyball player Brad Converse graduated with a 3.92 GPA in Criminal Justice, he was the 2025 McGrath Award Winner, was a member of the Leadership Scholars Program and received AMCC academic honors all four years, Converse was a fourt-time team MVP, a three-time AMCC all-conference selection, and holds the program record for most career service aces, he also served as a peer leader during his time at Hilbert...La Roche University SR lacrosse player Conner Radecki holds a 4.0 GPA in Mathematics and a minor in Pre-Law, he carries the hi,ghest cumulative GPA for all male student-athletes at LRU and has received all A's every semester, as the Redhawk goalkeeper, he is the program's all-time career saves leader (551), while also serving as the SAAC vice-president, member of Student Government, serves as a campus tour guide, and even volunteers his time to be the campus mascot...Mount Aloysius College SR volleyball and golf player Andrew Wlodarczyk graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Accounting, he is a four-time member of the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team and a four-time AMCC Peak Performer, he is a Mercy Presidential Scholar Recipient and was named the Mount Aloysius Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year; Athletically, he was a member of the 2025 AMCC All-Conference Team and finished his career as the men's volleyball program's all-time leader in kills, digs, and aces; Wlodarczyk was a three-year Resident Assistant, a student governor senator, treasurer of the MAC Business Club, SAAC representative, VP of the MAC Pickleball Club, and a volunteer Income Tax Assistance Member...Penn State Altoona SR tennis player Casey Hess graduated with a 3.99 GPA in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, he was PSA's Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, attended the National CIEC Conference in California to present his research, received the highest mechanical engineering scholarship at University Park, member of the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team and CSC Academic All-District Team; Athletically, Hess was named the AMCC Player of the Year and was an AMCC all-conference first team selection, while being the program's all-time leader in singles wins; Hess is an officer in the racquet sports club and the Impact Campus Ministries at Penn State Altoona...Penn State Behrend SR tennis player Matthew McCullough graduated with a 3.96 GPA in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, he is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society for student-athletes, spent two semesters as a teacher's assistant and also served as a research assistant during his time at Behrend...Pitt-Bradford JR swimmer Conan Young carries a 3.77 GPA and was named the Pitt-Bradford Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, he is one of the most successful male swimmers in UPB history, as he is undefeated in regular season dual meet individual performances and is the top record holder for the men's swimming program, as well as being a three-time AMCC all-conference performer; Young is a member of the UPB SAAC committee, coordinates team donations to the Friendship Table and purchases and wraps gifts for the Elf Fund, along with being a lead student coach for the McKean County Special Olympics.

Alfred State College SR cross country/track and field and swimming student-athlete Hailey Kumpf graduated with a 3.98 GPA in Health Science, she received CSC All-District honors and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, she was the 2024 AMCC WXC Individual Champion and Runner of the Year, was an AARTFC qualifier in the 4x800 relay in T&F, and earned second team all-conference honors in the 200 free relay at the swimming & diving championship meet...Carlow University GR track & field student-athlete Molly Wagner carries a 4.0 GPA in the Master of Arts in Psychology graduate program, she was named the 2025 United East Winter Senior Scholar-Athlete, while also being named to the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team, the CSC Academic All-District Team, and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma; Athletically, she holds numerous school records and was named the 2025 UE Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year; Wagner served as Celtic Ambassador, being involved in all aspects of welcoming people to campus, she also was a psychology tutor, a member of the Celtic Celebration Committee, and participated in multiple Mercy Service Day events...Hilbert College SR basketball player Kelsey Schlagenhauf graduated with a 3.967 GPA in Criminal Justice, she was the recipient of the Hilbert McGrath Award, while also being a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree and a four-time members of the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team, she was a three year starter on the women's basketball team, earning team MVP honors, averaging nearly 10 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while also serving as a peer leader on campus...La Roche University SR softball player Katie Gaughan graduated with a 3.993 GPA in Professional & Creative Writing, she received the Harry G. Austin Scholar Athlete Award and is a member of the Honors Institute, as she was a member of the Dean's List every semester, she was a two year captain on the Redhawk softball team...Mount Aloysius College SR lacrosse player Hanna Geissler graduated witha 3.89 GPA in Criminology with a minor in Psychology and Sociology, she is a member of Alpha Phi Sigma and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies and a member of both the United East and AMCC Academic All-Conference Teams, she was a team captain, scoring 60 career goals and recording 11 assists, 33 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, and five draw controls, she was a SAAC representative and a volunteer intern with the Westmoreland County Forensic Unit...Penn State Altoona SR swimmer Madison Coleman graduated with a 3.87 GPA in Elementary and Childhood Education, she received PSA's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and is a member of the KDP and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies, she received CSC Academic All-District honors and is a member of the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team, she earned all-conference honors in multiple individual and relay events throughout her career, and is a member of the PSA SAAC committee while volunteering her time at various events throughout the year...Penn State Behrend SR tennis player Keri Saulino graduated with a 3.98 GPA in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology and Sustainability Leadership, she was the top academic female athlete at Behrend, receiving the Outstanding Person in Chemistry Award, the Presidential Walker Award, and the Academic Excellence Award in Environmental Science Research; Athletically, she received both first and second team all-conference honors and was a four-time member of the AMCC All-Sportsmanship Team, she was President of Greener Behrend and VP of Behrend Schreyer Council while also serving as a Science Ambassador and a biology research student...Pitt-Bradford JR soccer player Makartnee Mortimer carries a 3.98 GPA in Sports & Exercise Science, she is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma honor society and was named the 2025 UPB Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, she was a two-time team captain ands recorded three goals and four assists in her career, she was involved in mulitple clubs and service activities on campus, including Club Lacrosse, Literacy Day, Italian Fest, and the Bradford Christmas Parade, she was the Treasurer of SAMHAC and Secretary for the SAAC committee.
