Friess led the Bobcats in five matches over Labor Day Weekend with 56 kills and 63 digs. She averaged 3.29 kills per set and 3.71 digs per set. She also accumulated 68 points. The Bobcats earned their first win of the season over Wilson on Monday in a 3-0 sweep.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius OH Molly Richards led the Mounties with 28 total kills and 42 digs on the weekend, as she had her best hitting performance in the Mounties' 3-1 loss to Catholic, where she had 16 kills and hit .306, to go along with 19 digs, she then recorded seven kills and an .043 percentage against Salisbury...Hilbert OH Molly McKinnon had a strong showing for the Hawks with 21 kills, one block, one assist, five aces, and 26 digs, as she had a standout performance in the Hawks' win over Keuka, hitting .643 and passing at .941 in serve receive...La Roche MH Kalli Grine opened the 2024 season in dominate fashion, as her and La Roche took down Penn State Shenango 3-0, Grine was dominant on the offensive end, coming through with five kills and a .625 hitting percentage...PS-Altoona MB Makenna Port helped lead the Lions' offense through four matches in this past weekend's Great Lakes Cross Over, where her team went 1-3 against St. Mary's (IN), Kenyon, Olivet, and Kalamazoo, as she totaled 29 points (2.1 points per set), 25 kills (1.79 kills per set), and six total blocks (0.43 blocks per set), and she compiled a strong .451 attack percentage...Carlow JR Rebecca Hess led the Celtics with 32 kills, 44 digs and eight service aces following Carlow's final game of the USCAA Tip-Off Tournament.
