      <title>TWELVE AMCC BOWLERS EARN NTCA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM HONORS</title>

      <description>Mount Aloysius College bowlers Jessica Bello (Business Administration), Lucy Craig (Biology) and Casey Schaffer (Business Administration), New Jersey City University's Cindy Alviar (Graphic Design), Autumn Fortunato (Psychology), Rachel McIntyre (Criminal Justice), and Medaille College's Kaitlyn Doane (Accounting), Michelle Magee (Veterinary Terchnology), Taylor Reese (Psychology), and Jennifer Stewart (Psychology) all earned academic honors on Monday as the student-athletes were honored on the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) 2016-2017 All-Academic Team for their efforts in the classroom.</description>

      <title>Taylor Reese, Medaille College, Women's Bowling</title>

      <description>Reese saved the best for last, having an amazing week for the Mavericks as they closed out the season winning the AMCC Tournament Championship for the first time in program history. Her week started against Daemen College where she shined in the team format, averaging 191.5 in two matches, including a season high 227. She was just as good in the baker matches, knocking down a total of 232 pins for an average of 17.85 pins per frame. As good as she was against Daemen, Reese was even better in the AMCC Championships. On Saturday during the team format competitions, Reese bowled over 190 three of the five different matches and averaged 180.4 for the day. She followed that up on Sunday by knocking down 832 total pins, averaging 17.3 per frame over the course of five baker matches. For her efforts over the weekend, Reese was named to the AMCC Championships All-Tournament team along with teammate Michelle Magee.</description>

      <description>Reese had a phenomenal week at the lanes, helping the Mavericks to a 4-1 week against Roberts Wesleyan and Pitt-Bradford. Reese bowled three of her best games of the season in team formats this week, averaging 196 against Roberts Wesleyan and 205 against the Panthers. She was just as impressive in the Baker format, averaging 16.62 pins per frame against Roberts Wesleyan and 17.22 pins per frame against Pitt-Bradford.</description>

      <description>Amon led the Mounties to an 8-0 record and their second consecutive AMCC regular season title at the AMCC round robin tournament, hosted by Pitt-Bradford over the weekend.  Amon rolled the highest traditional average (195) for the event and the highest individual game of 255.  She also averaged a 17.3 during the Baker matches.</description>

      <description>Fortunato led New Jersey City University to its most successful day in years, finishing in first place on day one of the AMCC Round Robin #1. Fortunato finished first overall in the individual standings in a field of 32 bowlers. She had a five-game pinfall of 977 (212-186-194-180-205) for a 195.40 average, and was 105 pins ahead of second place. Fortunato, the NJCU anchor, tossed two of the day's three 200 games bowled - 212 against PS-Altoona and a 205 in the bye fifth game.</description>
