OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona OH Avery Farabaugh spearheaded the Lions' offense in a tri-match split with non-conference opponents Wilkes and Manhattanville on Saturday in Wilkes-Barre. In Penn State Altoona's 3-0 loss to host Wilkes, the senior totaled 15 points on 13 kills, two block assists, and a solo block. After that, he recorded 21 points on 17 kills, two service aces, two block assists, and a solo block in his team's 3-1 victory over Manhattanville. On the week, Farabaugh had 36 points (5.1 points per set), 30 kills (4.29 kills per set), and posted a .279 attack percentage.

BEST OF THE REST: Geneva OH Owen Kelley led the Golden Tornadoes to a 4-1 week, including a third-place finish at the National Christian College Athletica Association (NCCAA) Invitational over the weekend, as he finished the week with 49 kills (2.45 k/s) on a .252 hitting percentage, while adding 23 digs (1.15 d/s), 11 aces (0.55 a/s) and 10 blocks (0.50 b/s)...PS-Behrend MH Owen Wienczkowski tallied 18 kills and 12 blocks in two matches this past weekend, as he tallied nine kills and six blocks in each match...Carlow OH Russ Cyprowski led the Celtics with 13 kills in Carlow's lone nonconference game this week...Thiel OH JC Govannucci recorded 16 kills and seven digs this week as the Tomcats fell to SUNY Potsdam...Hilbert OH Brad Converse has an excellent showing for the Hawks with 11 kills, 33 assists, four aces, two blocks and nine digs, all while hitting .250...Mount Aloysius S Evan Schmidt averaged 8.27 assists for the Mounties across three games, also picking up 2.09 digs per set.
