PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville G Jeremy VanDuluitgaarden turned in another strong week for the Spartans, leading the team to a pair of victories to open up the conference schedule. Beginning on Wednesday in the team's 97-88 win over Hilbert, VanDuluitgaarden scored a career high 32 points with nine rebounds and five assists - all team highs. He played all 40 minutes in the game, shooting 65% from the field. Then on Saturday in the 72-69 come from behind victory over Franciscan, he scored 14 points with eight rebounds - both team highs. The senior currently leads the the AMCC in scoring with 19.8 PPG and is fourth in the conference with 8.4 RPG. He has scored at least four points in every game this season.
BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg G Cam Seigfreid averaged 20 points and seven rebounds this past week as he shot 41.9% from the floor, 37.5% from three, and knocked down 8-of-10 from the free-throw line, including 24 points and nine rebounds against Franciscan...Franciscan G Sean Hickey led the Barons to an impressive 2-1 week last week, as he averaged 19.7 points per game while posting a career-best 27 points against Pitt.-Greensburg...Hilbert G Hunter Martineau led the Hawks this week averaging 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and four assist per game, as he shot 48 percent from the field and 80 percent from the foul line...Mount Aloysius F Imrane Amadou led the way for the Mounties in two conference wins over Penn State Altoona and Medaille, scoring 16 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the win over rival Penn State-Altoona and recording a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Medaille...La Roche G Zach Gould averaged 15.5 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and hit seven three-pointers in two conference wins for the Redhawks...Pitt-Bradford G Reggie Rogers led the Panthers in scoring this week, highlighted by 20 points against Medaille Wednesday, as he helped Pitt-Bradford battle back and compete with the Mavericks...Medaille G Brandon Roach played extremely well for the Mavericks last week, averaging 13 points and four assists per game while also collecting 2.5 rebounds per contest and connecting on 66.7% from three (8-12)...PS-Behrend G Andy Niland reached the 1,000 career-point milestone against La Roche on Wednesday, as he tallied 12 points and four assists, hitting his 1,000 point at the 7:45 mark of the second half, while he also added nine points and eight assists in the win over Pitt-Bradford on Saturday.
