PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg G Cam Seigfreid eclipsed the 20-point plateau in both games for Pitt-Greensburg this past week. He averaged 21.5 points, seven rebounds, shot 51.9% from the floor, and hit all 11 of his free-throw attempts, including 9-for-9 against Penn State Altoona. Seigfreid scored 23 points on 6-of-11 from the floor and hit all nine of his attempts in the 93-80 victory over the Lions. He followed his performance against Altoona with his first career double-double, totaling 20 points and 10 boards against the Mavericks. Seigfreid currently ranks fifth in the conference in scoring (15.5 points) and has seven games with 20 or more points. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille G Kirk Hawkins recorded 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals on Saturday against UPG, and followed that up on Sunday with 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists against Penn State Altoona...D'Youville G Jeremy VanDuluitgaarden led the Spartans to a 75-63 win over Mount Aloysius, as he poured in 19 points, 16 rebounds, and added six blocks in the big conference win...La Roche F Tyler Frederick averaged a double-double with 11.5 points and 14 rebounds in two conference wins last week, including 16 points and 15 rebounds in their AMCC Game of the Week victory at Penn State Behrend on Wednesday...PS-Behrend F Dan Wanker tallied double-digit points in a pair of AMCC games this week, as he registered a team-best 12 points and career-high six assists against La Roche and then posted 16 against Franciscan to reach 1,000 career points...Hilbert F Nick Parucki came off the bench and helped the Hawks to their second AMCC victory of the season, as he tossed in 18 points behind 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 4-for-4 at the foul line while grabbing six rebounds and adding one block against Penn State Altoona...Franciscan G Sean Hickey helped the Barons to a 1-1 week, including an exciting upset over Mt. Aloysius, as he led the team with 15.0 ppg, including 18 on Wednesday, all from beyond the arc...Pitt-Bradford G/F Desmond Brogsdale played 34 strong minutes for the Panthers against first-place La Roche, dropping 13 points, while also grabbing five boards, dishing out two assists and collecting a steal...PS-Altoona G Y'shua Bragg had a strong week for the Lions in the paint, averaging 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.
