PITT-GREENSBURG: Head Coach - Cheerleading (part-time)

  • Direct and administer University’s cheerleading program operations and student recruitment.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule. Primary hours of work will be afternoon and evening, Monday through Friday, however weekend hours will be required to meet the needs of the cheerleading team schedule.
  • Coordinate practices, providing leadership, fiscal management and scouting/recruiting are duties associated with this position.

Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and four years’ coaching experience and/or recruiting at the college, high school or club level, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; BA/BS degree preferred.
- Two years’ experience managing student workers and volunteers preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of word processing and database management helpful.

LA ROCHE COLLEGE: Head Coach - Men's Lacrosse (part-time)

La Roche College invites applications for the position of Head Coach for Men’s Lacrosse.  The head coach is responsible for all facets of the program including instruction, planning, supervision, and compliance with conference regulations.  La Roche competes in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. This coaching opportunity is a contract position and is considered part-time with limited benefits.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct existing competitive men’s lacrosse program; overall management of team with support from Athletics Department.  
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all NCAA, College, and Department policies and regulations. 
  • Scouting and Recruiting responsibilities to maintain and enhance the program in accordance with NCAA regulations.
  • Coach student athletes in all phases of the sport; includes practice time, rules and regulations and standards for intercollegiate play.
  • Represent the College with integrity, ethical behavior and professionalism.
  • Monitor academic progress of athletes; makes recommendations as necessary.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Lacrosse experience and knowledge 
  • Coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
  • Ability to travel and work varied schedule, including some weekend hours
  • Valid driver’s license
