Dozens of student-athletes from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford participated in Bowling with a Buddy Sunday afternoon at Byllye Lanes to benefit McKean County Special Olympics.
2018 marks the ninth consecutive year Pitt-Bradford Athletics has teamed up with the McKean County Special Olympics.
For the event, the student-athletes cheered on the Olympians as they bowled.
The Panthers Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) headed the event, garnering one of the largest participation turnouts from student-athletes in the nine years of the event.
McKean County Special Olympics is a year-round program in which over 360 athletes with mental and physical disabilities compete in softball, bowling, running, basketball, golf, skiing and swimming. For more information on the organization, click here.
