PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille SR Cho Thiri Tun had arguably the greatest week of her career, going undefeated in both singles and doubles play. Tun went 3-0 in the number five singles position, defeating all three conference foes in straight sets. In number three doubles she was even better with her partner, surrendering just five points going 3-0 and capping a 6-0 week. The senior also led her team to flawless 3-0 week in conference play.
BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan SO Madelyn Conrad dropped just two games in four matches, helping the Lady Barons to sweeps of La Roche and Greensburg during the week, while individually she has won 11-straight AMCC doubles matches, dating back to her freshman year...PS-Altoona SO Brayley Lewis went 2-1 in doubles and 2-1 in singles against three AMCC teams, including victories over D'Youville (8-3, 6-3, 6-3) and Medaille (8-3, 6-0, 6-0)...PS-Behrend FR Marissa Bowles won the deciding singles match in the No. 1 spot to help the Lions over La Roche 5-4 on Saturday to remain undefeated in AMCC action, while individually she went undefeated in singles and doubles play in conference matches...D'Youville JR Gillian Wittig went 2-1 in the No.1 spot with wins over Medaille and Penn State-Altoona, and also went 2-1 as part of the top doubles pairing for the women, again defeating Medaille and Penn State-Altoona...Pitt-Bradford SO Ashley Stoltz picked up a singles win in the No. 4 spot for the Panthers in dominant fashion against a tough conference opponent (PS-Behrend).
