PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg FR Jaimie Schleicher put together a perfect 3-0 week with a win against Franciscan, and also tossed two complete-game wins at Medaille on Saturday. She posted an incredible 0.30 ERA in her three wins and also moved into first place in program history for most wins in a single season (13). Schleicher totaled 22 strikeouts on the week with just five walks and allowed just two runs in the two games played this past Friday at Medaille, both of which were unearned. Schleicher is tops in the conference in ERA (1.08), wins (13), and strikeouts (105).
BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Rachel Miller recorded three wins last week in the circle, hurling 16.1 innings and striking out 12 while only giving up seven earned runs, including just five hits and no earned runs in six innings of work in a win over Hilbert.PS-Altoona SO Morgan Brumbaugh posted a 2-0 record, including one complete game shutout, and a 1.08 earned run average, throwing 13 innings and giving up 16 hits, two earned runs, and just one walk while striking out six...Pitt-Bradford JR Cassidy Lewis went 2-0 on the week, including notching a win over D'Youville in a key sweep for the Panthers, surrendering only four runs, one earned, in 13 innings pitched, good for a 0.54 ERA...Franciscan FR Jayln Effertz won the second game against Pitt.-Greensburg, striking out five, allowing 10 hits and just one walk, while moving to 4-0 on the year...Hilbert SO Rachel Allen threw 19.1 innings in three appearances, recording 15 strikeouts and recording a win over La Roche on Saturday...La Roche JR Savannah Leonard allowed two earned runs in 4.2 innings last week.
